We're trying to raise $200k for abortion funding while under attack.
On September 10th, Abortion Care Tennessee received a letter from Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti demanding we turn over all of our internal information, communication, and processes related to self-managed abortion and abortion pills by mail, including information and communications with other repro partners.
We will be fighting this. We will not be silenced or intimidated, and we will not abandon the Tennesseans that need our care. We see this as an opportunity to show vulnerable Tennesseans what it looks like to be fought for and protected, even if it means years-long battles for us in court.
In true Tennessee fashion, politicians are using our community as a testing ground for their fascist attacks. This aggressive demand by the TN Attorney General opens the door for a larger national strategy to further restrict abortion access, free speech about abortion, and to attack national abortion pill directories and provision organizations.
We know it is our duty in this moment to hold the line against this fascist attack on our rights as best we can. This lawsuit will take away time and resources from our actual work: funding abortion for Tennesseans.

About Abortion Care Tennessee: We are a TN statewide nonprofit abortion fund dedicated to removing barriers and increasing access to reproductive and sexual health care—including safe abortion care—for all people in Tennessee. ACT supports Tennesseans who are forced to travel out of state for abortion care due to Tennessee's total abortion ban by funding their procedures through trusted out-of-state clinics.
