On October 17, 2023, I personally visited Matt Walsh at Kentucky University to ask him a simple question regarding underage survivors of sexual assault and whether he believes they should be forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy. Matt could not answer this question directly.
I, however, can answer that question: NO. Regardless of age, race, gender identity, or ability to pay, no person should EVER be forced to carry a pregnancy they do not want. That is why I am teaming up with Abortion Care for Tennessee to raise funds for people needing abortions in Matt Walsh's home state. Abortion is outlawed in the state of Tennessee, meaning people needing this potentially life-saving procedure are forced to travel out of state. They often take days off their jobs, miss important events, and drive for hours just to get care that is so readily accessible all over the world.
My home state of Ohio just enshrined abortion rights into our state constitution. Tennesseeans don't have this luxury yet. In the meantime, let's help them out! Donate today!
